Joseph Wan
Baron Group – Founder and Group Chairman
Founder of Baron Group, Mr. Wan has extensive experience in corporate finance, merger and acquisitions, direct investments and project finance. Over his 30 years tenure in the field, he has held senior positions in Citibank (Hong Kong) (now Citigroup), Credit Commercial de France (now merge with HSBC), First National Bank of Chicago and Arab Asia International Limited. In 1993, he founded a merchant bank specialized in M&A advisory, takeovers and IPOs.
Mr. Wan obtained his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and his MBA from the University of Chicago.

Bill Majcher
Baron International Limited – Managing Director
Mr. Majcher is a highly accomplished visionary with over 20 years combined experience in public services, international finance and capital markets. His background includes management, public stewardship, structured finance, emerging markets, product development, strategic planning and position, and risk management.
Mr. Majcher worked with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for over 20 years, where Mr. Majcher enjoyed remarkable success in covert and public market investigations and often worked alongside with law enforcement and securities regulators from around the globe. Mr. Majcher has lectured extensively on abuse within the international capital markets, including sophisticated money laundering cases. He has also worked as Euro-bond trader and futures and option brokers.
Mr. Majcher obtained a bachelor degree in Commerce from St. Mary’s University, Halifax, Canada.

Alexander (Sandy) Logie
Baron Asset Management Limited – Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Logie has over 25 years of investment experience initially in fixed income and derivatives trading and more recently with hedge funds and private equity funds. He has worked with numerous Silicon Valley venture capital funds, global and regional private equity funds, and asset backed lending, long-short equity and event driven hedge funds advising them on both fund raising and investment strategies.
Mr. Logie began his career as a bond trader and market maker for Prudential Securities. From 1985-1997, he served as Vice President and Head Trader for Citibank Canada in the Global Debt Derivatives and Fixed Income Arbitrage Group where he managed a US $60 billion currency and interest rate swap portfolio.
Mr. Logie was an advisory member of Canadian Venture Capital Association and the Founding Director of Mapleridge Capital Corporation, a Commodity Trading Advisory (“CTA”) firm with assets currently under management in excess of
US$1 billion. He has also served as an advisor to various hedge funds and private equity funds throughout his career.
In 1998, Mr. Logie co-founded Crane Capital Associates, the only Canadian-based international private placement firm specializing in Alternative Assets. With offices in Toronto, New York, San Francisco, London, Munich and Melbourne the Company built a global footprint prior to being acquired by Bear Stearns Asset Management Inc., NY in 2007.

David Eaton
Baron Global Financial (Canada) Limited – Managing Director
Mr. Eaton began his career on the floor of the dynamic Vancouver Stock Exchange (now the TSX Venture Exchange). He worked in every aspect of the investment business before structuring transactions as a financier and investment banker. He has become an expert on bringing ventures to the public market through the CNQ, Canada’s newest venture Exchange.
Mr. Eaton has structured and participated in numerous IPOs, arranged financing for private placement. His expertise lies in introducing capital to opportunities, ideas to financing, management to projects. Through his work he has developed a significant client base which can bring aftermarket liquidity. Mr. Eaton has also developed land projects in North and Central America, giving him a wide ranging exposure to the business issues in land development, financing and property offerings.

Yang Li Bin
Baron International Consulting (Beijing) Co. Ltd. – Managing Director
Ms. Yang has 20 years of experience in management of large state-owned enterprises and investment banking fields. Ms. Yang held a number of senior positions in the Chinese government and large state owned enterprises, including the Commission of Science and Technology and Industry for National Defence, Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau, Siwei (Beijing) Co. Ltd., and China New ERA Group Corporation.
At China ERA Group Corporation, Ms. Yang, as president of the company, along with her project team acted as the financial advisor for the venture funding of Shenzhou V project, one of the China’s highest profile space programs. Ms. Yang has been interviewed by CCTV-1, “People.”
Ms. Yang graduated from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics.

Larry Berk
Baron Group (USA) Limited – Managing Director
Mr. Berk is a corporate finance specialist and money manager with over 30 years’ experience working with New York Stock Exchange companies. He provides strategic planning services to many top corporations around the world, and has held executive positions with investment banking firms, including Oppenheimer & company, where he was a partner. Mr. Berk has directed over 50 underwritings and private placements.
Mr. Berk is an active volunteer in both professional and community based organizations. He is a founding member of the Financial Investment Analyst Association and National Investment Bankers Association, an advisor to the American Theater Wing (Tony Awards), a member of the Executive Council of New York and a Board member of the New York University, stern School of Business Executive Forum.

Michael Sze
Ping An Securities Limited – Managing Director
Mr. Sze has over 30 years of experience in the financial and securities field and is currently active in concluding numerous currency and interest rate swaps with a China nexus. He also sits as Independent Non-executive Director on a number of major Hong Kong and Chinese public companies.
Mr. Sze has held various positions with the regulatory bodies and professional groups. He was a former Council Member from 1996 to 2000 and a former Member of the Main Board Listing Committee from 1997 and 2003 of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Accountants. Mr. Sze is also a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors and a Committee Member of the Hong Kong Stockbrokers Association Limited. He has served as a Member of the Insider Dealing Tribunal and the Market Misconduct Tribunal reporting directly to the Financial Secretary of Hong Kong.
He graduated with a Master of Law (LLM) degree from the University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Lawrence A. Dick Ph.D., P.Geo
Resources Group – Managing Director
As Exploration Manager for Chevron Resources in Chile, Dr. Dick led the team that discovered the giant Collahuasi district copper/ molybdenum depsoits and the Can Can epithermal gold deposit. Collahuasi is one of the largest copper producers in the world currently.
Earlier in this career, Dr. Dick discovered the Golden Bear gold deposit in northern British Columbia for the Hunter Dickenson Group. As the executive vice president and the director for General Minerals Corporation, he led the exploration that discovered copper and silver prospects in Chile, Peru and Bolivia. He has also helped Continuum Resources Ltd. to identify and develop the Natividad and San Jose deposits advancing them from "depleted" properties to potentially viable gold and silver mines.

Samuel Au-Yong
Managing Director
Mr. Au-Yong graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton, UK. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Mr. Au-Yong has over 16 years' experience in the investment, corporate finance, accounting and auditing fields. Before joining Baron, Mr. Au-Yong was the Director of Corporate Finance of CITIC Capital Markets Limited, responsible for managing the firm's equity corporate finance and equity capital markets, marketing and execution of all primary and secondary equity and equity-linked issues, M&A, financial advisory, restructuring and syndication.
Joining CITIC Capital, Mr. Au-Yong worked as the Executive Director and Head of Corporate Finance of Core Pacific Yamaichi Capital Limited and as a Senior Manager at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell.

Ringo Hui
Director
Mr. Hui graduated from the London School of Economics with a master degree and a bachelor degree in Management. He began his career with Bates Hong Kong, a 4A's advertising agency account service team with clients such as Nokia, KFC, Wyeth and Simmons. He then moved to a private equity firm based in Hong Kong and helped the listing of a number of public companies including Neo Alliance Minerals Inc. (TSXV: NAM). He left the company in December 2006 and joined the Baron Group in May 2007. Mr. Hui is currently the director of Baron Capital Limited in Hong Kong, responsible for cross-border M&A activities, IPO's and other direct investment initiatives.

Simon K. T. Wong
Managing Director, Merger & Acquisition Hong Kong
Mr. Wong graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Hong Kong, completed the Executive MBA from Tsinghua University, and rewarded the Certificate in Hong Kong Law from the City University of Hong Kong. He is a member of Hong Kong Institute of Securities and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) of Institute of Management Consultants of Hong Kong. He has over 17 years’ experience in the project finance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and IPOs. Before joining Baron, he was the Managing Director of Mergers & Acquisitions for Daiwa SMBC Securities, originate and lead the execution of M&A advisory deals for China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Vietnam. He also worked as the Vice President of Corporate & Investment Banking (Communications, Media & Technology) of DBS Bank of Hong Kong, where he was the core team member in the TradeLink Electronic Commerce Holdings Limited IPO in HKSE in 2005. He was the Head of China Origination (Associate Director) of Utilities & Energy Investment Banking Dept of Deutsche Bank. He was the Project Leader for book-running the US$128.4 million term loan facility syndication for a 2 x 50MW power co-generation project in Tangshan, China. Asiamoney, Euromoney, Project and Trade Finance International selected the Project as one of their “Deals of the Year” in 1996. The project is a joint venture of Sithe Energies (a company owned by Vivendi and Marubeni Corp.) AIG-Asian Infrastructure Fund and Government of Singapore Investment Corporation.

Jade Wang
Director, Merger and Acquisitions
Ms. Wang has over ten years Mergers & Acquisitions experience, including asset/debt management. Prior to joining Baron, Ms Wang worked in investment banking with China Cinda Asset Management Corporation, responsible for debt-to-stock swaps, asset and debt restructuring, financial advisory, M&A and syndication. She was responsible for transaction execution, marketing, due diligence and client relations. Since 2005, Ms. Wang has been working for Baron Group as a financial advisor and integration manager on various mergers & acquisitions projects between China and Europe. During her tenure, she has coordinated China Minmetal’s acquisition of HP Tec (Germany) and the acquisition by Beijing No. 1 Machine Company (subsidiary of Jing Cheng Group Holdings) of Waldrich Coburg GmbH also in Germany. Ms. Wang coordinates and advises businesses in China seeking to list on the Deutsche Börse or on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Ms Wang holds a Master of Arts from Nankai University and MBA from the University of Leeds.

Bob Perry
Director, Resources Group
Mr. Perry is a professional exploration geologist with more than 25 years domestic and international experience in mining and gold, uranium and base-metal exploration. In 1973, he received a B.A. in Geology at the University of Colorado and subsequently his M.Sc. in Geology at the University of Colorado. He is the author and co-author of several publications and papers relating to the gold mine and economic geology. He was a district exploration manager at Energy Reserves Group from 1977 to 1981. From 1981 to 1989, Mr. Perry was the senior geologist at Canyon Resources Corporation. From 1989 to 1996, he was the founder and president of Lupine Minerals Corporation. From 1997 to 2000, he was the COO and the Principal of Gold Discovery Company. From 2005 to 2008, he held the position of Vice President of Exploration at Vista Gold Corporation, where he was responsible for managing all geologic related evaluation and exploration programs on the company’s properties as well as potential acquisition target, overseeing programs in Australia, Indonesia, Mexico and several western US states. In May 2008, he joined Intuitive Exploration Inc. as Vice President of Exploration.
